My artworks deal with the social, political and cultural intermingling in the modern times. I truly believe that art from time immemorial has functioned as the reflection of reality and beyond. Beyond, because art lets us see the subtle system of realty that usually remain hidden from our sight and understanding. I have made an effort in bringing such hidden aspect of dynamic yet subtle reality that we live in.
I trained as a painter, but I also work in other mediums. I have been trying to find the resources of different art forms from Asian region (folk and traditional). I utilize local technical support, natural material or found objects. Sometime involving both the local artist and the artisan, I work with various themes and different techniques. This leads me into organizing workshops, which benefit the community at large. It also gives us the time to develop and research work collectively.
